BMF Members Day 2011 | Corporate Event Filming

It was nice to be back at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel in Warwickshire filming a corporate video for the BMF Members day. The two main topics from the BMF Members day were the economy and the Green Deal. Dr Andrew Sentence spoke about how the recovery is shaping up and what it means for the industry in the short term. David Purvey looked at the Green Deal and discussed regulations for merchants and their customers. This was followed by workshops with the chance to debate and discuss ideas and experiences. I really enjoyed this filming the BMF Members day and here is the Podcast from the event.

Norwood Park Weddings | Promotional Video

Yesterday I filmed a promotional video at the lovely Norwood Park Weddings fair in Nottinghamshire on behalf of Sue at White Media. What a beautiful day!! The sun was shining and it was a stunning autumn day as potential bride and grooms queued at the door over an hour early to get in. There was a real excitement about this venue. But who can blame them, surrounded by english countryside, lakes, parkland and Bramley apple orchards, Norwood Park is the ideal wedding venue for any couple wishing to have the perfect day. As a wedding videographer I loved this place!! There were some fantastic suppliers at the  Norwood Park Weddings Fair. Cakes, cars, jewellery, photography, chocolate fountains, more photographers and my personal favourite – hand made wedding chocolate demonstrations. But I do love chocolate!! So to taste what I have been filming is always nice!! The wedding Fair was pretty busy for most of the day and overall I think it was a real success as brides kept flooding in!! Well done Sue!! Komodo Fireworks Promotional Video

Behind the Scenes

Back in November I travelled to Southampton to film the bonfire night firework display on behalf of Komodo Fireworks. Earlier in the day I filmed the setup as the Komodo crew got everything ready for the big show. An incredible amount of fireworks, cables and attention to detail was needed to ensure everything went perfectly and that the show went according to plan. This web video is a great glimpse behind the scenes and shows just how much effort goes into setting up a professional firework display. This video will be added to their corporate promotional DVD, alongside all the other Fireworks Videos Beautiful Life have filmed for them over the last few years. Also a big congratulations to Komodo who have been invited to compete in the 2011 British Musical Fireworks Championships at Southport later in the year. They’ve worked hard over the past few years and I’ve loved the opportunity to film their shows and magnificent displays!!

Wolverhampton Christmas Lights ❘ Event Videography

Had a great night in Wolverhampton City Centre last night filming on behalf of Komodo Fireworks. I was filming the spectacular firework display which followed the Christmas Lights Switch-on. The Firework display was launched from the rooftop of House of Fraser (Beatties). Beacon Radio hosted the event and Father Christmas appeared with his reindeers and Peppa pig and a few panto stars made an appearance.  However, the highlight of the night was the amazing firework display that Komodo produced!! They just get better and better!! The light was bouncing off the buildings and the crowd were amazed at the sight of Komodo Fireworks painting the sky!! And this was no ordinary firework display as it was a pyromusical and synced to a christmas song which I am sure will get you in the mood for Christmas. The finished fireworks video will be used as a promotional video on their new blog and as a new addition to the promotional DVD I produced for them earlier in the year. Enjoy!!
