Eastwood Hall Wedding Video Teaser

Sonya + Simon Wedding Video Teaser

Here is the wedding video teaser from Sonya and Simon’s day at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham. I’ve been looking forward to editing this video for a while now as they had one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Whilst filming the guest activities late in the day I saw this incredible sunset and and asked Sonya and Simon if they just wanted to take advantage. They were so up for it and so we went running up the hill before we missed it and arrived just next to a field where the views were stunning.

The sky was just amazing and had about 15 mins to capture some great Bride and Groom shots before the sun went down. have put them together into a quick wedding Teaser just to wet their appitites whilst I finish editing the rest of the video.

Wedding Video Songs

Songs that Inspire…

I love looking for new wedding Video Songs for my Cinematic Films. Every time I watch a movie that has a soppy or romantic moment or I walk into a store playing a catchy tune in the background, I find myself reaching quickly for my iphone and using my favourite App ‘Shazam’. All I have to do is open the App, press ‘tag’ and point it in the direction of the music. It then takes a sample of the few seconds sample of sound and searches it’s database for the song. Seconds later it gives details of the Name and Artist of the Song and stores the details on my iphone. A fantastic App!!! If your a wedding videographer reading my blog and you struggle finding inspiring music then it’s a must have App.

Now I have an ever changing list of up to date songs that my clients just love and makes choosing wedding video songs so much easier for couples.

Having the right songs are so important in a wedding video as they dictate the style and speed of your film. Choose the wrong one and it can be disastrous which is why I spend time every week looking for songs that are contemporary, elegant and moving to listen too.

Thanks for sharing this Shaun. Finding the right choice of music for fireworks is essential in our line of work and Shazam is a great tool for finding the details of a track you may hear, right there on the spot!

Thomas Spencer-Wortley

A few days before Christmas Joy and me filmed and photographed Singer Thomas Spencer-Wortley, All Angels and guest appearance of Camilla Kerslake at Birmingham Town Hall. Thomas gave a superb performance and the whole evening was amazing to film. The stage, colours and lighting were beautiful with a stunning performance from each artist!!!

I have since developed a Promotional Video for Thomas from the footage which will be used to promote him throughout the world. Due to copyright issues I am unable to display the video on this site which is a real shame. A few of Joy’s pictures from the evening are below. We are unable to show anything with the Choir Visible due Copyright. But will be able to add more of the other artists once permission has been given.

Lumbers Jewellery Party

VIP Event at Lumbers Jewellery Shop

A few weeks ago I filmed at Lumbers Jewellery Store which had been transformed into a Michelin Star Restaurant for 3 nights on the run up to Christmas. Champagne in the Yellow Diamond Showroom, models exhibiting Jewellery and a 4 course meal followed by X Factor Star Ruth Lorenzo performing to the audience. What a night!!!

I got some really great shots from the night which has made a beautiful Cinematic event video. Here are the highlights/montage from the evening:

Pyromusical Display

Here is another Pyromusical fireworks display I filmed for Komodo Fireworks recently filmed on Bonfire Night in Wolverhampton where 20,000 spectators enjoyed a fantastic display. Beautiful Life is filming various events for Komodo Fireworks so that we can create a promotional video for their potential clients. The original display was over 20 mins and so I have cut it down to just 8 mins. The video starts part way through the Pyromusical.
