Yesterday I filmed a promotional video at the lovely Norwood Park Weddings fair in Nottinghamshire on behalf of Sue at White Media. What a beautiful day!! The sun was shining and it was a stunning autumn day as potential bride and grooms queued at the door over an hour early to get in. There was a real excitement about this venue. But who can blame them, surrounded by english countryside, lakes, parkland and Bramley apple orchards, Norwood Park is the ideal wedding venue for any couple wishing to have the perfect day. As a wedding videographer I loved this place!! There were some fantastic suppliers at the Norwood Park Weddings Fair. Cakes, cars, jewellery, photography, chocolate fountains, more photographers and my personal favourite – hand made wedding chocolate demonstrations. But I do love chocolate!! So to taste what I have been filming is always nice!! The wedding Fair was pretty busy for most of the day and overall I think it was a real success as brides kept flooding in!! Well done Sue!! The Proper Pizza Co | Promotional Videos

As wedding videographers and wedding photographers we get to meet some interesting wedding suppliers. Every now and then we come across a company who adds something really different to the day. Last wednesday I was at Southwood Hall, Cantley in Norfolk filming a wedding and met a fantastic catering company called “The proper Pizza Co.” They were cooking the most delicious pizza’s I have ever tasted on a wood fire!! They really were delicious!! These guys added something really special to the day and the Bride, Groom and their guests looked like they were enjoying every mouthful. As well as wedding videos, I love to also promote wedding suppliers who are a little different and the best at what they do. So thought I would just put a little video together for all those planning weddings as these guys were fantastic and offer a great experience!! Belvoir Fireworks Champions 2011 | Event Filming

After queueing for over an hour to get into the 2011 Belvoir Castle Firework Champions we finally unloaded our gear, dragged it up a very steep hill, got the flask out, watched the sun set and got ready for some amazing fireworks. As an events Filmmaker I really love my job!! Belvoir Castle is the perfect venue for any wedding photographer or wedding videographer but this evening it had opened it’s beautiful surroundings to 10,000 spectators who had gathered to see this amazing show. There were 3 of the UK’s best firework companies competing against each other in a 10 minute pyromusical choreographed to music. I was filming on behalf of Komodo Fireworks who were up 2nd and their Pyromusical Fireworks display was outstanding and by far the best of the night. I wasn’t surprised when they stole the show with over 75% of the votes. I film a lot for these guys and know how much effort and passion they put into their work and so a big congratulations to the team as they deserved to win!! Well done!! Thrumpton Hall Wedding Promo

Thrumpton Hall in Nottingham is a fantastic wedding venue. I have filmed both English and Asian Weddings there and always love the opportunity to go back. Thrumpton Hall and it’s amazing 350 acre park is the perfect backdrop for any wedding videographer or wedding photographer to capture some stunning imagery. So I was delighted when Thrumpton Hall asked me to come and film a wedding on their behalf as they wanted a short wedding video which they could use on their website to give bride and grooms an idea of what a Thrumpton Hall Wedding would be like. A big thanks to Rachael and Robert for allowing me to film on the day, enjoy!!

Colwick Hall Wedding Fair

A few weeks ago I was asked by White Media Ltd to film March’s wedding Fair at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham. Colwick Hall Hotel is a country house mansion surrounded by acres of parkland. It’s a great wedding venue and with it’s lakeside Pavillion and marquee makes a great setting for a wedding videographer or wedding photographer to capture your day. There were over 200 brides that came through the doors with suppliers offering wedding cakes, wedding cars, wedding video, wedding photography and so much more.

Had a great night in Wolverhampton City Centre last night filming on behalf of Komodo Fireworks. I was filming the spectacular firework display which followed the Christmas Lights Switch-on. The Firework display was launched from the rooftop of House of Fraser (Beatties). Beacon Radio hosted the event and Father Christmas appeared with his reindeers and Peppa pig and a few panto stars made an appearance. However, the highlight of the night was the amazing firework display that Komodo produced!! They just get better and better!! The light was bouncing off the buildings and the crowd were amazed at the sight of Komodo Fireworks painting the sky!! And this was no ordinary firework display as it was a pyromusical and synced to a christmas song which I am sure will get you in the mood for Christmas. The finished fireworks video will be used as a promotional video on their new blog and as a new addition to the promotional DVD I produced for them earlier in the year. Enjoy!!

Promotional Videos

Beautiful Life were invited by Komodo Fireworks to film Southampton Docks main Firework display. The day started early filming Komodo’s team as they rigged and prepped the fireworks on the barge ready for the evenings display at Mayflower Park. I’ve filmed a number of displays for Komodo in the past but the scale of this was big. The main event was organised by The Round Table on behalf of Charities across Hampshire. Thousands of spectators turned up on the night and were amazed by the fantastic display by Komodo which lit up Southampton’s Sky. I filmed the Fireworks from the Penthouse of the DeVere Grand Harbour Hotel which gave a spectacular view of the docks. I love the introduction to this video with the traffic streaming in and thought it made a great opener. The video will be added to Komodo Fireworks ever evolving DVD which I produced for them earlier in the year.

Stubton Hall Weddings Fair

A few weeks ago I was filming a promotional video in Newark, Lincolnshire at the fabulous Subton Hall Wedding Fair on behalf of White Media. And what a venue!! With it’s magnificent grounds, fabulous bedrooms and stunning rooms Stubton Hall is the perfect wedding venue. This was one of the busiest wedding fairs I have seen in a while with suppliers offering ways to make your wedding day that little bit more special. Wedding photographers, Wedding cars, fine wines, chocolate fountains, wedding videos and lots of other great ideas to give you your dream wedding day.

I love Thrumpton Hall, with it’s amazing gardens, pretty lakes, beautiful rooms and with Debbie and her team ready to give you your ultimate wedding day. Thrumpton Hall is the perfect backdrop for your wedding video and wedding photography to record your romantic dream wedding. It’s always nice to meet new suppliers, many of which I have worked with over the past few years. It’s been a very busy week filming in Northampton, Cheshire and Sheffield. I filmed a stunning Hindu Wedding on Thursday, a Civil Hindu/Yugoslavian wedding at Kelmarsh Hall on Friday, and an English wedding at Tatton Park on Saturday. Today I filmed a Promotional Video in Sheffield at Whirlowbrook Hall Wedding Fayre on behalf of White Media. I had a fab day meeting lots of different suppliers and after travelling home I managed to finish the Promotional Video for White Media. Enjoy!!
