It was a pleasure to photograph Krishna and Pras’s Civil Wedding at Catmose Cottage Registry Office in Oakham, Rutland.  The rain just about held off as the Bride made her arrival on foot, crossing the road, dress hitched up, loved it!   The ceremony was followed by confetti throwing and family pictures in the garden and then it was off into Oakham for some Bride and Groom portraits.  I really enjoyed this shoot.  When I asked Krishna what she wanted to do for their Bride and Groom time she said her and Pras just loved all the little shops in Oakham and she was happy for me to just do my thing, so I did!  Oakham was very quaint with loads of old buildings and bunting strung across the square, I was in a happy place!  Krishna and Pras were great, really relaxed and smiley, they probably thought I was a bit crazy when I commandeered a passing lady’s bicycle but the shots turned out fab.  It really is worth putting some time aside on your wedding day to have some portraits taken, with a little bit of planning and creativity you can have a fun photo-shoot resulting in a a unique collection of Images.  Congratulations Krishna and Pras and I look forward to photographing your Hindu Wedding at the Weekend.
