Today we have Paula and Satish’s Stoneleigh Abbey Wedding in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.  This was our first time covering the wedding photography at Stoneleigh Abbey. Paula got ready with her bridesmaids at her parents house in Walsall and travelled to Stoneleigh Abbey in a vintage Morris Minor.  When Shaun and I arrived at Stoneleigh Abbey the cricketers were out on the field and the Abbey was looking beautiful in the sunshine, a very rare sight this year!  Stoneleigh Abbey is a stunning venue for weddings with lots of individual rooms and spaces.  Paula and Satish got married in the conservatory looking out over the river.  The room was decorated with flowers, with a ring of cacti at the front where Paula and Satish stood to make their wedding vows, their wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Paula and Satish had an informal ceremony where people shared personal thoughts and messages for the couple followed by a short more formal Civil Wedding ceremony which included the legal declarations.  Everyone enjoyed drinks on the lawn followed by the wedding breakfast in the Saloon.  Paula and Satish cut their cake on the steps at the front of the Abbey and everyone made their way down to the cellar for the evening party and the first dance.
