Ben & Hannah | Wedding Video highlights

We’ve had a crazy year filming and photographing lots of amazing weddings all over the UK. And today we have Ben & Hannah’s wedding video highlights from their Leicestershire wedding. Ben and Hannah were an absolute delight to work with and their wedding day was so nice. The Bridal preparations were in a lakeside log cabin and their ceremony was in a nice little village church – with a very cool vicar!! After the ceremony we were back to the lake the wedding breakfast, speeches and the evening reception. The drinks were flowing and the dancing got underway in style!! Anyway, here’s their wedding video highlights and thanks for a great day.

Few thoughts from Ben & Hannah

1) Tell us about your big day
After months of anticipation everything went perfectly! We both enjoyed the most wonderful day in the company of friends and loved ones. Morning preparations were smooth, before we were married by the best man’s father in a beautiful little village church. We were glad we booked a string quartet, and, having the service taken by a family friend (who happens to be a vicar!), helped us relax and take it all in. Our wedding venue was idyllic. 11 luxury log cabins dotted around fishing lakes, surrounded by beautiful Leicestershire countryside. We had the whole place to ourselves, with a wonderful individually decorated marque for our wedding breakfast on the side of the reception venue. The food provided by an outside local catering company was just splendid. The speeches and drinks flowed – before we hoped to have entertained our guests with an unusual first dance! Later, our evening guests enjoyed the hog roast, before our brilliant band played long into the night!

2) What were your most memorable moments? 
Ben: I enjoyed every single thing. As it was the Queen’s Jubilee we had lots of fun over the long weekend. On the Friday evening, about 30 guests descended on a local pub for a meal, which was followed by a traditional game of skittles! After the big day on Saturday, our guests relaxed on Sunday with huge barbeque and epic game of cricket! It was nice to see our plans all come together so well.Hannah looked incredible and we both enjoyed being the centre of attention!

Hannah: The whole day was simply amazing! I loved walking into the church and seeing all my favourite people in one place. It was such a happy day with everyone smiling. I’ll never forget that.

3) What advice would you give to others getting married?
Keep calm and take it all in. Preparation is key!

 4) What do you love about being married?
We love being married to our best friend. Having someone there who loves you no matter what is amazing! Someone to share life’s good (and bad) moments. Enjoying the journey and growing closer together.
