It was a pleasure to photograph Krishna and Pras’s Civil Wedding at Catmose Cottage Registry Office in Oakham, Rutland. The rain just about held off as the Bride made her arrival on foot, crossing the road, dress hitched up, loved it! The ceremony was followed by confetti throwing and family pictures in the garden and then it was off into Oakham for some Bride and Groom portraits. I really enjoyed this shoot. When I asked Krishna what she wanted to do for their Bride and Groom time she said her and Pras just loved all the little shops in Oakham and she was happy for me to just do my thing, so I did! Oakham was very quaint with loads of old buildings and bunting strung across the square, I was in a happy place! Krishna and Pras were great, really relaxed and smiley, they probably thought I was a bit crazy when I commandeered a passing lady’s bicycle but the shots turned out fab. It really is worth putting some time aside on your wedding day to have some portraits taken, with a little bit of planning and creativity you can have a fun photo-shoot resulting in a a unique collection of Images. Today I have Natalie and Ben’s Syon Park Wedding video to share with you. The day jumping between the Radisson Edwardian Hotel and the Sheraton Skyline Hotel in Heathrow filming the bride and groom preparations. Ben thought he was being picked up in a taxi, little did he know that Natalie had organised a white Rolls Royce Phantom as a surprise to collect him from his Hotel. After the preparations it was off to Syon Park to film Ben and Natalie’s civil ceremony. This was my first visit to Syon Park and Syon House and what a wedding venue!! It was stunning!! Perfect for any wedding photographer or wedding videographer to capture some amazing imagery. No wonder it had been owned by the Duke of Northumberland’s London family home for over four hundred years. It was hard to imagine that we were only 10 miles away from central London!! Once the bride arrived the day just seemed to go so quickly and after their Syon Park Wedding ceremony we walked through the garden’s and headed to the Great Conservatory for the wedding reception!! It was capturing the faces of the guests as they walked around the corner seeing the great conservatory for the first time. It was breathtaking!! As the sun went down the conservatory lit up and Natalie and Ben finished the day with cutting the cake, speeches and their first dance.
