Beautiful Life were invited by Komodo Fireworks to film Southampton Docks main Firework display. The day started early filming Komodo’s team as they rigged and prepped the fireworks on the barge ready for the evenings display at Mayflower Park. I’ve filmed a number of displays for Komodo in the past but the scale of this was big. The main event was organised by The Round Table on behalf of Charities across Hampshire. Thousands of spectators turned up on the night and were amazed by the fantastic display by Komodo which lit up Southampton’s Sky. I filmed the Fireworks from the Penthouse of the DeVere Grand Harbour Hotel which gave a spectacular view of the docks. I love the introduction to this video with the traffic streaming in and thought it made a great opener. The video will be added to Komodo Fireworks ever evolving DVD which I produced for them earlier in the year.
