Pre-Wedding Video

Here is Bhupinders Sikh pre-wedding Video (Jaggo) which took place in Leicester. This video is just the highlights from the evening which lasts about 6 mins. All the dancing was filmed (with original sound) but there is too much to upload so I will upload a few minutes worth soon.

The Ceremony of Jaggo

The ceremony of Jaggo is an event which close relatives and freinds are invited. This takes place at night some nights before the wedding day. A copper vessel is decorated (called gaffar, with diyas (lamps) made of atta (wheat flour) and another one of the ladies carries a long stick with ghungroos (small bells) tied to it.  The ladies sing and perform a traditional dance called the giddha. Usually the mehendi and sangeet ceremony follows that of jaggo. This is an occasion for celebration with all family and friends being invited. Mehendi is applied on the bride’s hands and the other girls of the family too apply mehendi.

I will be uploading Bhupinder’s Mehendi Ceremony soon.

2010 Beautiful Life Sikh Wedding Video

A few nights ago I filmed at the Sir Colin Campbell Building at Nottingham University for Kando Business Coaching. The Seminar filming was part of the “Routes 2 Business” proactive networking event. The meeting topic was “Super Charge your Sales” presented by Rudi Jenson with the aim of showing business owners how to implement a real marketing plan that works during a recession and helps profits grow exponentially.

The Seminar was filmed in High Definition and with two professional cameras which added to the overall quality of the film with additional angles and cuts. I was asked to edit and deliver the footage for DVD and Online content and add slides and intros to the video. Kando Business Coaching were going to use this as an introduction to their services and so I designed a DVD insert for a half-sized DVD box. I prefer half-sized cases as I think they look better, save on postage and are more environmentally friendly as they use less plastic than a full sized case.  Below is the design I made for the DVD Case which I am sure will add great value to an all ready impressive seminar.
