As wedding videographers and wedding photographers we get to meet some interesting wedding suppliers. Every now and then we come across a company who adds something really different to the day. Last wednesday I was at Southwood Hall, Cantley in Norfolk filming a wedding and met a fantastic catering company called “The proper Pizza Co.” They were cooking the most delicious pizza’s I have ever tasted on a wood fire!! They really were delicious!! These guys added something really special to the day and the Bride, Groom and their guests looked like they were enjoying every mouthful. As well as wedding videos, I love to also promote wedding suppliers who are a little different and the best at what they do. So thought I would just put a little video together for all those planning weddings as these guys were fantastic and offer a great experience!! Thrumpton Hall Wedding Promo

Thrumpton Hall in Nottingham is a fantastic wedding venue. I have filmed both English and Asian Weddings there and always love the opportunity to go back. Thrumpton Hall and it’s amazing 350 acre park is the perfect backdrop for any wedding videographer or wedding photographer to capture some stunning imagery. So I was delighted when Thrumpton Hall asked me to come and film a wedding on their behalf as they wanted a short wedding video which they could use on their website to give bride and grooms an idea of what a Thrumpton Hall Wedding would be like. A big thanks to Rachael and Robert for allowing me to film on the day, enjoy!!

Thrumpton Hall Wedding Fayre

Yesterday I was at Thrumpton Hall, Nottinghamshire filming a wedding Fayre on behalf of White Media. I love Thrumpton Hall, with it’s amazing gardens, pretty lakes, beautiful rooms and with Debbie and her team ready to give you your ultimate wedding day. Thrumpton Hall is the perfect backdrop for your wedding video and wedding photography to record your romantic dream wedding. It’s always nice to meet new suppliers, many of which I have worked with over the past few years. Anyway, here is a small promotional video featuring the highlights on behalf of White Media and Thrumpton Hall. Enjoy and thanks to Sue and Debbie for another well organised day!!

Stapleford Park Country House Hotel | Firework Display

It was great last night filming a Pyromusical display on behalf of Komodo Fireworks at Stapleford Park Country House Hotel. Komodo Fireworks produce some of the most spectacular displays I have ever seen and I was at Stapleford Park to film Komodo’s handy work. I drove across a very bumpy field in the pitch black (which was fun) and parked next to a spooky forest and managed to set up my two cameras. It’s times like these when you wish you had gone easy on the horror movies as a teenager!! But with Stapleford Park Country House in the background Rob and his team managed to light up the sky with another awesome Pyromusical firework display. As it got darker the sky looked amazing so I created a timelapse of the clouds moving over the venue and made a great little intro for the video.

Over the last 12 months I have been filming various displays as part of an ongoing/developing Promotional DVD made especially for promoting their shows and products. Anyway, Enjoy!!

Yesterday I sat with Photographers Dave and Emma to complete the second part of their Photography Promotional Video. After choosing music we worked hard (and drank lots of coffee) for the next 7 hours to piece together a really smooth looking promo film. The second part of this video last just under 8 mins and give an insight into how Dave and Emma approach the Wedding Ceremony part of the day.

Promotional Web Video

Quality Chesterfields are a company based in the North West of England. They recently approached me to film and produce a video for their new website which will be going online soon. Filming took place over a day in order to capture the whole process and was then edited into a 4 min video and subtly finished with some nice Colour Grading.

I love the different machinery noises and think this works really well with the music.

Additional Information

This was a one camera shoot, filmed in High Definition using a Sony Z1E with a Portable Glidetrack HD to get some nice movement. Final Film was edited and colour graded using Final Cut Pro and MB.

Promotional Video Production

Over the last few months I have been filming a number of events and developing a promotional DVD on behalf of Komodo Fireworks. Pyromusical Display

Here is another Pyromusical fireworks display I filmed for Komodo Fireworks recently filmed on Bonfire Night in Wolverhampton where 20,000 spectators enjoyed a fantastic display. Beautiful Life is filming various events for Komodo Fireworks so that we can create a promotional video for their potential clients. The original display was over 20 mins and so I have cut it down to just 8 mins. The video starts part way through the Pyromusical.

Thomas Spencer Wortley

It was great to film at the Birmingham Town Hall for Thomas Spencer Wortley last week. This was a 4 camera shoot where we had the challenge of developing a short promotional video from the Live Event to send to venues globally to promote Thomas and his singing. We are really happy with the finished piece and love some of the angles we managed to get. I have worked with Thomas a number of times and really thrilled to see how his career as a singer has grown over recent months. He has just released his new album Credere which you can buy online.
